"I understand City are not happy, but Bruno was not offside"

The highlight of the matchday in the Premier League was the Manchester derby between United and City. The Red Devils took all three points despite Grealish's opening goal, but Bruno Fernandes' equaliser was a controversial one due to an alleged offside by Rashford.
After the match, Erik ten Hag, speaking in the press room, reviewed the game and the play: "We played very well in the first half. We defended very well, we were active and we created chances before the break, so I think we should have taken the lead there, but we didn't manage it.
"I understand that the opponent is not happy with this situation, but Bruno was not offside. Bruno was onside and he converted. I wouldn't be happy if my team got a goal like that, so I understand the disappointment of the opponent, but I can also see the other side," he said of the goal.
He also praised Rashford: "I'm very happy with his performance. In the first half, I think he had a very good one-on-one with the goalkeeper, but then he was able to score. In elite football, I think you always have to suffer and sacrifice to get the right results.
"Throughout this whole process, I think we have seen that team spirit. We had a difficult moment in the match, but we still got stronger and stronger. The team always had confidence, and that's something I have to appreciate. It was a good performance in an important game," he added as his side moved to within a point of City.
