"I'm hungry to keep winning at the best club in the world"

Brahim Diaz, who scored a goal in Madrid's 2-1 win over Chelsea, assured that he will always be at Carlo Ancelotti's disposal for any minutes, especially this season when there will be a lot of competition in the Madrid attack.

"I will always be here. I'm ready, with a lot of desire, with a lot of hunger to keep winning and to continue at the best club in the world," he said. "I always prepare myself in the best way, work quietly, work hard and then the rest will come," he added.

Brahim was named player of the match alongside Vinicius. "This has helped us to get physically fit, but now comes the best part," said the Spanish-Moroccan player.

With the signing of Kylian Mbappe and the growth of youngsters like Arda Guler, minutes at the Merengues side are going to be hard to earn but Brahim, acknowledging with a smile that "every footballer wants to play", said that demand and competition are part of Madrid's DNA. "I think the best players in the world are here and that's what Real Madrid is all about," he said.

Finally, Brahim spoke about Mbappe and defined him as "an incredible player" and "one of the best in the world without a doubt". "He will give us a lot. I'm excited about him and so is the whole dressing room," Brahim concluded.
