"I'm a Barca fan, but my son is a Real Madrid fan"

Kylian Mbappe is at the back end of his PSG career. Barring an unexpected surprise, the French striker will end the summer at Real Madrid for many reasons. 

Real Madrid have been following the footballer for a long time, who they invited around 10 years to their facilities so that he could get to know them and train. Zinedine Zidane's interest and his admiration for Cristiano Ronaldo left Mbappe and his family captivated, but they wanted to wait until the right moment came along. 

As the player has such a bright future, Barcelona also formed part of the list of big clubs which joined in the bidding war in 2017 when he wanted to leave Monaco. However, the Catalan side received approval from Mbappe's father, but not the player himself. 

'Sport' announced this Monday that Wilfred Mbappe, the PSG player's father, would have accepted arriving at the Catalan capital. However, Mbappe was clear that he wanted to play at Real Madrid. 

"I support Barca, but my son Kylian is a Real Madrid fan. If he leaves for Barca now, he will never be able to end up playinf for Real Madrid," was the answer that Barca received, according to 'Sport', That was before the Frenchman joined PSG. 

What's moe, Wilfried Mbappe added that >"if he goes to another club, he will always end up at Real Madrid," alluding to the eternal rivalry between Barcelona and Real Madrid. Before signing for PSG, the Mbappe family were clear where his future did and did not lie.
