"I have no chance of winning it" - Lamine Yamal on Ballon d'Or nomination

Shy and with simple answers, but cheered and acclaimed by those present. Lamine Yamal, synonymous with hype, spoke to ‘El Hormiguero’ in his first television interview with Pablo Motos, with whom he spoke about his candidacy for the Ballon d'Or.

The Barcelona player confessed that he found out the news in the lift with Nico Williams: "We were in the lift with Nico. First he came out and then me. I have no chance of winning the Ballon d'Or. I imagine that those at Madrid will appreciate me for the national team".

Lamine Yamal recalled the Euro celebrations: "All the families came down and we spent an hour on the pitch. In the dressing room it was crazy. I thought Morata and Unai Simon were serious, but I didn't believe it. The first thing I thought the next day was that I wanted to sleep, it was 9 o'clock in the morning".
