"I had one foot in Madrid and the other in Roma"

Francesco Totti is now a football agent after a long and successful football career at Roma. The legendary former Roma captain remembers how Real Madrid approached him back in 2004. 

The World Cup winner admits he had to think about it for a couple of days and that he was really close to accepting the offer and try his luck Spanish football. In the end, he stayed at his boyhood club. 

"Of course I considered Madrid's offer. There were many days I was with one foot in Spain and the other in Rome", he claimed. 

After 25 seasons at Roma, Totti claims he 'followed his heart'.
