The 4-0 win over Red Star Belgrade and Saturday's 4-1 triumph over Cardiff came from Klopp shifting to a 4-2-3-1 formation.
The manager made light of the Red Star win, joking that it came beacuse Fabinho was playing on his birthday.
However, after another big win in the Premier League, it seems as though Klopp has found a way to get his team back to top form.
"It looked good, it made sense to do it. It was the right thing to do with these players in these positions," said Klopp.
Liverpool's new-look side will face a sterner test in the Premier League on Saturday, when they take on in-form Arsenal.
The Gunners have won 11 of their previous 12 games, and they will provide a serious acid test for Klopp's team.
