How are Barca heading into the Clasico?

The RFEF even met to say that guaranteeing security is not their responsibility ahead of a match which will be seen the world over. Security will be tight to make sure the game goes ahead. That is what the Barca president Josep Maria Bartomeu said during lunch with the media. 

Barcelona going into the Clasico with some problems and other positive things after being held by Real Sociedad. Real Madrid will go top of the table if they win at Valencia on Sunday evening. 

Valverde's men will have had an extra day's rest than Real Madrid, a stat which is usually important because Zidane's men will have to put in lots of effort if they want to beat Celades' Valencia. They will be playing the Clasico less than 72 hours later. Surprisingly, Barca had less possession than Real Sociedad at the Anoeta. 

De Jong and the front three of Griezmann, Messi and Suarez continue being the best for Barca. The Dutch midfielder is a guaranteed starter and the French striker is starting to get the regular game time he is after. He scored again in the match at Anoeta, but he did not celebrate it. The front three are in good form ahead of the Real Madrid game. 

However, Barca have problems in midfield. Everything seems to indicate that Valverde will use Rakitic and Busquets, although the Spaniard is in the spotlight after his comments following the spot kick not given to Pique. Rakitic is getting starts and has turned the situation around with good performances. 

In the full back position, there is another problem because Jordi Alba is not 100 percent after his injury, so Semedo could replace him for Wednesday's encounter. 

And the most important thing, as 'Marca' says is in the goal. Barcelona have conceded 24 goals in all competitions including two at the Anoeta. Ter Stegen gifted Isak the equaliser in that game. Barca have positive and negative things to look at ahead of the Clasico.
