Hernandez Hernandez was given orders prior to Clasico

It was the most eagerly awaited encounter after the match had to be postponed due to the political situation in Barcelona. A large police presence was deployed to make sure the game passed off basically without incident although there were disturbances just outside the ground once the match was over.
Inside the stadium, what happened on the pitch led to the controversies. So much so that Real Madrid were fuming and issued a statement to complain about Hernandez Hernandez and the application of the VAR.
"We only want justice," Real Madrid defended. They think that the referee did not make the right decisions when it came to two penalty shouts on Varane. In fact, the player showed the state of his leg after being caught by Lenglet's studs.
In addition, the 'El Golazo de Gol' cameras picked up a conversation between Varane, Sergio Ramos and Hernandez Hernandez in which the Real Madrid captain said both fouls were penalties.
During the programme 'Estudio Estadio', the presenter and head of the programme, Juan Carlos Rivero, surprised people by saying that Hernandez Hernandez was given instructions on how to officiate the fixture prior to the 'Clasico'.
"We have a piece of information which says that the referee of the match between Barcelona and Real Madrid had been given a couple of important instructions. Firstly, in order to give a penalty, it had to be a very obvious one," he explained. This sparked a lot of debate in the studio.
The presenter then went on to give the other bit of news. "The second thing was about yellow cards. that is to say that, if a player is were to be sent off for a second yellow card, it had to be a pre-meditated kick which was bordering on a red card. This is information," he said.
Juan Carlos Rivero insisted that what he said was information and not his opinion of what happened in the 'Clasico.'
