Haaland breaks silence after Hooper's baffling 94th minute decision vs Spurs

Manchester City were held to a 3-3 draw against Tottenham in a thrilling match that ended with tempers flaring after a controversial decision by referee Simon Hooper.

The English referee provoked the fury of the Sky Blues players when he inexplicably stopped the game to award the home side a free-kick when Grealish was clean through on goal. Erling Haaland was one of those punished with a yellow card for getting angry with the referee for his decision.

Later, the Norwegian striker, who was clearly angry on his way to the dressing room, took to social media to quote a tweet criticising Hooper's decision with the letters "WTF" - short for "What the f*ck".

It's not the first time Simon Hooper has made headlines this season, after he was involved in a Luis Diaz goal wrongly disallowed by VAR that led PGMOL to admit "significant human error".
