Guardiola 'never forgave' Lineker for shirt snub

In an interview for the BBC's 'The Premier League Show', Guardiona reminded Lineker of a story which took place when the former England striker was playing at the Camp Nou.
At this point, Lineker was a key player for the Catalan side and Guardiola was at the very start of his footballing journey.
The City boss was progressing through the Barcelona youth rankings as a technically gifted and creative midfielder, but also acted as a ball boy on matchdays.
When he was reminiscing, Guardiola promplty reminded Lineker that he once refused to give him his shirt.
"Did you know I was a ball boy [at the Nou Camp} and I gave you balls," the Spanish coach remarked.
"I asked for your shirt after the game but you never gave it to me - I never forgave you!"
Lineker replied: "I didn't know that was you, you probably had hair then. Now I feel really bad, [but] they never allowed us to give away our shirts in those days. There you had to keep the same shirt all season."
The two former Barca stars finally buried the hatchet at the end after Lineker promised to finally give the former Barcelona boss his shirt, and Guardiola gleefully accepted.
