Kun Aguero lived the Real Madrid-Manchester City game very intensely, as he participated as a commentator on 'STAR+', a programme on 'ESPN'. During the match, the former Argentine player criticised some of Pep Guardiola's decisions. Among them, that Julian Alvarez did not play a single minute.
Another former player who criticised the Catalan coach and the Cityzens was Guti Hernandez. 'El Chiringuito' pundit hit out harshly at several players of the Sky Blues on Wednesday night's programme.
"The coaches have changed roles, now the bold one is Ancelotti and the defensive one is Guardiola," said the former midfielder of the 'Mernegue' club.
"Manchester City have less offensively. They used to have two full-backs who came in like lightning from the back and now they don't. They put in Bernardo Silva, who is not a winger, and they lose a player there," he added.
Finally, Guti criticised one English player in particular: "City have Jack Grealish, who doesn't dribble past anyone. In the Premier League he might outsmart everyone, but I haven't seen him in the Champions League".
