According to Spanish publication 'AS', Griezmann's future could lay away from the Spanish capital next summer, with PSG making him their top target to replace Neymar at the Parc des Princes.
The French side are understood to be keen on having Griezmann team up with Kylian Mbappe in attack, with the pair having been France's two stand-out players as they romped to World Cup glory in Russia in the summer.
Although Griezmann has become a symbol of Atletico Madrid since joining the club from Real Sociedad, PSG are thought to be confident of luring him back to his homeland should Neymar eventually leave the club next summer.
Whilst Neymar is thought to be keen on a move away from Paris, his current employers are in no rush to let him go and are likely to hold out for a significant fee. 'SER' revealed on Thursday that the player has a gentlemen's agreement with PSG chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi to allow him to leave in 2019 for a fee or €220m, but whilst Barcelona are rumoured to be considering a reunion, it is understood that Real Madrid continue to hold a very serious interest in his services.
With that in mind, Griezmann has emerged as PSG's top target, with the club prepared to invoke his €150m release clause at the Wanda Metropolitano.
