Greenwood on Man Utd's retained list, De Gea excluded

Manchester United announced on Friday the list of retained players they have sent to the Premier League. Erik ten Hag's side have included Mason Greenwood, who is under investigation by the club.
The English striker was acquitted of charges of attempted rape, controlling and coercive behaviour and section 47 assault of a woman after being suspended by the Red Devils for several months while the case was ongoing.
The 21-year-old has a contract with the Old Trafford outfit until 2025 but United do not expect him to play for them but want to find him a new loan move. Several clubs in Italy and Spain are reportedly interested in him.
Meanwhile, David De Gea is the most notable omission as the Spaniard has not yet renewed his contract with the English side and his future in Manchester is uncertain.
Manchester United are already looking for a replacement for the 32-year-old in the summer transfer window and Porto goalkeeper Diogo Costa is the main contender to replace him.
