Bayern Munich visited the RheinEnergieStadion on Saturday with the aim of getting their 4th successive win to, momentarily, move ahead of RB Leipzig and put all the pressure on them.
The side led by Hansi Flick, in a shaky start to the match, went in front thanks to a goal from Thomas Müller from the penalty spot after a handball from Marius Wolf in the box.
Köln kept the rate for the rest of the half, but the quality of Serge Gnabry caused Timo Horn to have to pick up the ball out the net again.
A trademark goal: the German came in from the right-hand side, went towards the centre and, with the inside of his left boot, made it 2-0 to Bayern with a shot to the far post. He even made it look easy.
