Today is the last day of the January transfer window and teams are rushing to finalise their winter reinforcements. Bournemouth are also making moves for some winter signings as they have contacted Getafe about the situation of Enes Unal, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The Cherries coach knows him as a rival, but not as his player, due to his past at Rayo Vallecano. The 26-year-old is well-liked by manager Andoni Iraola. His asking price is 29.3 million euros. Getafe paid 9 million euros to Villarreal for his services and, since then, he has been a key player in the team.
This season he has only been able to play five competitive matches because, about eight months ago, he tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee. In fact, he returned to play a few minutes on 2nd January.
The Turk has never played in the Premier League so this opportunity could be interesting for him. Bournemouth are in mid-table after a poor start but as the weeks have gone by, Iraola has made an improvement that has greatly changed the perception of him.
Getafe are reportedly keen for him to leave on loan for the remainder of the season with an option to buy for 16.5 million euros. The player has told both parties that he agrees to the transfer.
