Gerrard impressed with players' bouncebackability

The Glasgow-based team traveled to Moscow in the Europa League to face Spartak, seeing Rangers lose for the first time in the competition this season to a 4-3 scoreline.
Despite that setback, a 7-1 win over Motherwell was the perfect response according to Gerrard.
"I am very pleased with the players and the result. We asked the players to bounce back today and put on a show for the supporters, we certainly delivered that." the former Liverpool midfielder said after the game.
"That's what I've been asking for right from the start. We've used the words "ruthless" and "relentless" and that's what we were today.
"I said to them at half time: "We're 3-1 up, they're a man down, what are we going to do?" I asked if they were going to continue to get carried away in a fight and in the emotion of it all or if they were going to be calm, if they were going to play with a precision and a tempo.
"I told them we would get opportunities to make the scoreline as big as we wanted and the players delivered."
