Fiorentina renew manager and will move for Jovic

In the last few hours, Fiorentina's director announced that head coach Vincenzo Italiano has extended his contract for another season, where his main goal will be the UEFA Conference League.

"ACF Fiorentina announce that head coach Vincenzo Italiano and his coaching team have extended their contracts with the club until the 2023/24 season, with an option to extend into the 2024/25 season. 'La Viola' and their manager have opted to strengthen their existing relationship for another year and with a better deal, with the goal of improving on the back of a good season which has just finished", the 'Fiore' stated.

Italiano will remain manager and will begin working on strengthening his squad. In this regard, his main transfer target is Luka Jovic.

The Serbian forward does not have a place in Real Madrid's squad and could join Fiorentina on a loan deal. As of today there is no official agreement, but it is clear that 'Los Blancos' would be willing to pay half of his salary.

Jovic would join on a loan deal with an option to buy. Madrid's goal is for the former Eintracht player to have a good season so that they can sell him in the near future.
