The Best 2023, LIVE: these are the finalists and the prizes
For the best goalkeeper award, Cata Coll represents Spanish talent. She is a world champion and has every reason to have a national double with her and Aitana Bonmatí on the catwalk.
For the best goalkeeper award, it is quite likely that Thibaut Courtois will win the trophy, although he has an anterior cruciate ligament injury. It would be interesting to hear his feelings. The last time he appeared in front of the press, he did so in an interview with a local newspaper in which he harshly criticised his coach, Domenico Tedesco.
In the award for best women's coach, Jonatan Giraldez might seem to be the favourite, but Sarina Wiegman, who has even been rumoured to coach the England men's national team to the detriment of Gareth Southgate, should be kept in mind.
The Puskas award is difficult to predict, but in The Best men's football coach award, Pep Guardiola is likely to be ahead of Simone Inzaghi, whom he beat in the Champions League final, the crowning achievement of the Manchester City project. Luciano Spalletti will rival him with Napoli's Scudetto as his main argument.
In the Women's Best, it is logical that Aitana Bonmati should do the double after her Ballon d'Or. She led the Spanish national team at the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand. Linda Caicedo is more of an emerging profile and Jenni Hermoso, while a strong performer, lagged behind her compatriot.

In The Best best player award, it seemed that the favourite was Leo Messi, but 'DSports' has reported that he will not be attending the gala in London, raising suspicions that he knows he will not be picking up the award. It would go to either Erling Haaland or Kylian Mbappe with more options for the Norwegian, who won the Champions League with Manchester City.
It's getting closer to the start of the ceremony, but there's still a while to go, so why don't we take a look at the awards and their finalists?
