Farke: 'I'm proud of our performance'

The defeat brought a run of eight games without a loss to an end for the Canaries, thanks to Timm Klose's 35th minute own goal.
Farke said: “We are unbelievably disappointed with this result because it was not what we deserved today.
"But I can also say that I am proud of the lads today because that was exactly the performance how I want my Norwich City side playing football.
“We dominated the game and ball, we played high-speed attacking football and didn’t give one chance away.
"To lose this game is a ridiculous result and even a point wouldn’t be enough after this performance because I got the feeling just one side were attacking and playing football.
"But Stoke’s defending behaviour was good and for that we have to accept the loss today.
“We won the headers, we won more duels and we were totally on the front foot, but they were allowed to score out of a deflected cross and an own goal so it is one of those days where everything seems to be against you.
"In the last minutes I thought we could get a penalty but we have to accept it today. I am totally proud of our performance, the players left their hearts on the pitch but sometimes football isn’t fair and this was one of those days.”
