Fans to return in England!
Up to 4 000 fans will be able to allowed to return to all outdoor sports events, including the Premier League, when the national lockdown ends in England on 2nd December.
In higher risk areas numbers are set to be limited to 2 000, with fans banned altogether in the highest risk Tier 3 areas.
In smaller stadiums, capacity will be limited to 50% if the number is smaller than 4 000.
Fans have been banned from sports events in the United Kingdom since the original lockdown on 16th March apart from a handful of pilot events over the summer.
Elite sports have continued during England's latest national lockdown behind closed doors but non-league football has been halted.
Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy announced earlier today that his club would lose £150m if stadiums remained closed for the rest of the financial year.
The announcement is a part of Boris Johnson's 'Winter COVID Plan' that sees a general relaxation of restrictions across England.
