After three seasons at Monaco, in which he has scored 70 goals, Radamel Falcao wants to return to La Liga. At 33 years old, the Colombian is considering the end of his career, with Valencia a possible destination.
According to L'Équipe, Falcao wants to return to Spain, where he previously thrived for Atletico Madrid, scoring 70 goals in just 91 appearances and lifting the Europa League and the Euro Super Cup in the process.
In fact ever since departing from the Spanish capital, the Colombian captain has failed to reach the same levels, with his goals to game ratio gradually falling from club to club.
Before joining Atletico, his record with Porto was almost perfect, with 72 goals and 17 assists coming in just 87 matches, before his successful spell in Madrid was followed by his move to Monaco.
His record in Ligue 1 is still remarkable, with Falcao scoring 83 goals in 139 matches, with two forgettable Premier League loan experiences with Manchester United and Chelsea coming in between his two spells at Monaco.
With Falcao having a season with a Monaco side who struggled to remain in Ligue 1, he is now looking for a move away and according to the French media at least, Valencia could be where he is playing his football next season.
