Barring a surprise in the coming weeks, Fabinho will play for Liverpool in the Champions League final against Real Madrid. The footballer got injured in the Premier League clash against Aston Villa and the manager hinted recently that Fabinho would be back for the Champions League final. Now, the German has confirmed that.
"He'll definitely be in the Champions League final," he said in Friday's press conference. Klopp also spoke about his role on the pitch which he say is "very important. If these guys hadn't shown the attitude they had in training sessions (Oxlade-Chamberlain, Elliott, Jones), then we'd have no chance."

"The new Champions League format? More games is always a bad idea. I've spoken a lot about this. Obviously, nobody is interested, so.... it's fine, I didn't have time to listen to all the details. I've listened to a bit about it, but it's not really the time to form an opinion," he added.
On his complaint that the clubs are only getting 20,000 tickets for the final, revealed that Ceferin sent him a message: "He answered me via text. I said what I said, there should be more for the fans. 93% of the money goes to the clubs... I responded to him and I said 'ok'. I wasn't prepared enough for this matter, but I have an opinion. I'd rather UEFA got more money from the Champions League final and scrapped the Nations League."
On the FA Cup final, he said: "We're eager for this opportunity. Now, it's a great final for us and I'm very happy to form part of it. We always gave it our all to reach the final, but we just didn't make it. What's clear is that when you start a season, you can't have everything."
