Everton fans voice concerns over travel conditions outside new stadium

Everton supporters have expressed concerns about travel conditions outside their newly-built stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock after attending the second test event at the weekend.
As the Toffees prepare to move into their new £800m stadium next season, fans went to see Everton's Under 21s take on Bolton Wanderers' B team on Sunday, but were left frustrated while trying to leave the ground.
Supporters shared pictures of a massive crowd being held up by the Bascule Bridge on Regent Road, claiming that they had to be gradually let through because it couldn't handle the weight of the crowd.
With such chaos resulting from just 25,000 individuals, fans were left worried about potential situations that could arise when the 52,888 capacity of the stadium is fulfilled.
One said: "This needs sorting in my opinion. Having to stop every few steps because the bridge can't handle more weight. This will be chaos at full capacity. They had four years to sort it."
"Queues all the way down the road and this is only 25,000 fans," said another fan of the Premier League side. "Need to sort something fast before next season."
This is not the second time that Everton fans have voiced this issue as a similar situation unfolded following the first test event last month when the Under-18s played Wigan in front of just 10,000 supporters.
