Evans made to wait over City move

The 29-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to the Etihad this summer, with City believed to have seen two bids for the player turned down by Tony Pulis' side.
Pep Guardiola has identified the former Manchester United man as the ideal signing to boost both the homegrown element in the City squad and the level of Premier League experience in the his side.
Despite the interest, the 'Baggies' are holding firm on their asking price and demanding in the region of £30m for the Northern Ireland international.
Evans is currently on international duty, not that it would scupper any deal, as Michael O´Neil's side are set to use City's facilities this week before travelling to San Marino for Friday's World Cup qualifier.
However, it is thought that the move must wait until City can move on out-of-favour defender Eliaquim Mangala.
Mangala spent last season on loan at Spanish side Valencia, where ha made 33 appearances in all competitions, scoring twice.
The 26-year-old has been on the bench for all three of City's games so far this season but has yet to feature. Ironically, West Brom could be a potential destination for the Franchman, with Tony Pulis thought to be an admirer of the 26-year-old.
Mangala's agent was in the UK on Monday to thrash out a deal and it is thought that the move for Evans could advance quickly once Mangala's future is solved.
