Ethiopian league review

Mekelle 70 Enderta are now 4 points clear at the top of the league after beating 10th place Sebeta Kenema 2-1. They are 4 points clear of Fasil Kenema who lost 2-0 away to Suhul Shire on Friday. Shire are incidentally now 3rd behind 2nd on goal difference.

Wolkite Ketema are now bottom after they went down 3-1 away to Awassa Kenema. Hadiya Hosaena are the other side in the relegation zone despite drawing 1-1 at home to Kedus Giorgis.

Welatya Dicha secured a terrific 2-1 win away to Jimma Aba Jifar. Adama Kenema are outside the relegation zone on goal difference after losing 2-1 away to Dire Dawa Kenema.

Elsewhere, Bahardar beat Welwalo Adigrat University 3-2, and Ethiopia Bunna won for the first time in 3 games after back to back losses by beating Sidama Bunna 2-1.
