Estadio da Luz, Barca's bogey ground after Bayern and Benfica thrashings

The Estadio da Luz could be the venue which ends the reign of two Barcelona coaches. In just 14 months, Barca have suffered two of their worst defeats in recent years and both have come at Benfica's stadium. 

The first of them ended with Quique Setien's time at the club. A historic 2-8 defeat against Bayern ended up being one of the darkest nights in Barca's history. 

Koeman was precisely the man who replaced Setien and the same stadium, which caused Setien's downfall, could have led to the Dutchman's demise as well. 

The Barca hierarchy did not like his game plan with three central defenders, his style of play and definitely not the result. It was a crushing defeat which could be the straw which breaks the camel's back. 

Barca's board held an emergency meeting overnight on Wednesday to decide to what will happen to Koeman. Sacking him is definitely an option. 

The Stadium of Light is a horrible arena for Barca. After a 2-8 loss to Bayern, the 3-0 defeat to a weaker opponent in Benfica could be considered almost as bad. It is a desperate situation for them at the moment.
