David De Gea, the Spanish goalkeeper of Manchester United, said that never in his career has he felt better than at the current moment.
In an interview with the club's official media, the Spanish goalkeeper was asked if he thinks people forget that he is still a young goalkeeper and explained that perhaps it is because he has been playing for many years.
"I've played a lot since I was very young, but right now I probably feel better than ever in my career," said the goalkeeper, who will turn 30 on 7th November.
"I am very confident and that is very important to me. Now it's time to win matches and titles again, that's the most important thing for us right now," he added.
This year, United have given De Gea some competition for his place in goal with the return of Dean Henderson, who was on loan at Sheffield United last season.
"It is very important that there is a good feeling with the other goalkeepers and with the goalkeeping coaches as well. It's a great thing," said the goalkeeper.
