Bit by bit, after what happened against Brugge in the Champions League, Courtois has been gathering confidence and has very eagerly settled again in the Real Madrid goals.
His great performance and his defence have made him rub shoulders with the great goalkeepers in Real Madrid's history.
After keeping a clean sheet against Eibar, the Belgian goalie has gone more than 500 minutes without conceding, something that only 8 goalkeepers have done in Madrid's history.
Courtois has also surpassed 2 of them. With 532 minutes he has now moved ahead of Agustín (516) and Juan Alonso (517), but he is not finished there and has now got his eyes set on his next target.
And it is of his predecessor in the Madrid goals. Keylor Navas managed 533 minutes, therefore Courtois needs to hold on for 2 more minutes in order to move up one more place in the list.
At least he will have time to psych up because due to the international break he will not play for Madrid again until the 23rd November when they play at home to Real Sociedad.
