Costa ruled out for three weeks: could miss six games

Diego Costa is injured and Atletico de Madrid have not yet issued their official statement, but how long will he be out? The newspaper 'AS' estimates that it will be for three weeks. This would leave him out of Cholo Simeone's plans until the middle of November.
He would miss the league matches against Betis, Osasuna, and Cadiz. He had to come off due to muscle problems in the match against Celta, in which, after a sprint, he reached for his thigh and ended up having to be replaced by Joao Félix.
He would also be unavailable for the Champions League group stage matches against Bayern Munich, Salzburg, and Lokomotiv Moscow. His coach will have to call on other players, probably Felix, to cover his absence.
He would indeed be back in time for the mid-November league match against Barcelona, when he could return. This match is one of the most important of the season for Atlético, so Simeone will have to weigh up whether it is worth pushing one of his star strikers.
