Conte exit looking more and more likely

The two points dropped at Stamford Bridge mean that to secure a Champions League berth for next season, Chelsea need to beat Newcastle away and hope that Liverpool lose to Brighton at home. For a team that were league champions last year, this has to be considered a failure.
Speaking after the game, it was asked of Conte whether this could be his final game in charge at Stamford Bridge. The Italian responded in a rather coy manner. "For this season, for sure, it is my last game here," he stated. "Not only me, but the players too."
Continuing, Conte refused to give anything away over his future, but he made comments that hint at an upheaval at the club in summer. "I don't have anything to add," he said. "It is not my task, there is a club to judge the situation and then take the best decision."
"Now is not important - we must be focused to finish this season. We have another game and an FA Cup final - then the club will do their best to improve their situation."
It has long been rumoured that Conte may leave in summer, with the coach appearing at odds with the club at various points, but it seems likely we will have to wait until the end of the season to find out his fate.
The Chelsea boss will not be complaining about his side's league position if they finish fifth, as he accepts that the table doesn't lie. "I'm realistic - I think at the end of the season you finish in the position you deserve," he said.
"We dropped many points this season - then if we stay fifth then we'll deserve to stay in that position."
