CONFIRMED lineups for Congo v Morocco clash

Congo will visit their opponents' home country on Tuesday to face the Atlas Lions in a battle to qualify for the next World Cup in 2026. The match was scheduled to be played in Kinshasa but FIFA decided that it would finally be played in Morocco because they did not approve the stadium proposed by Congo.

As a result, Walid Regragui's men will play as visitors at home, which is a little disconcerting for the fans. Both national teams will be fighting for all three points to book their ticket to the next World Cup. However, they are not in the same situation heading into this encounter.

Morocco have won their last two matches and are at the top of the table on six points while Congo have not won a single game and have zero points, i.e. they are in last place along with Eritrea.

Congo starting XI: Matimbou (GK); Makosso, Andzouana, Ganvoula, Tsouka; Bassouamina, Dembi, Passi, Massanga; Makouta and Ipele. 

Morocco starting XI: Bono (GK); Hakimi, Aguerd, Amrabat, Riad; Ounahi, Ounahi; Ziyech, Diaz, Attiat-Allah; El Kaabi.
