Every day that passes, there is another rumour involving a Newcastle player. After the initial euphoria, now transfer targets are more believable, like the attempt to get Conor Coady.
Newcastle fans are going though very strange days. Suddenly, with the takeover of the club by a Saudi investment fund, it seems like Newcastle are going to sign everyone.
The first days were surreal. There was talk of Haaland and Mbappe, stars of European football. They were impossible signings which the club ruled out explaining that signing will be of a lowish profile for now.
Rumours keep on forming, but now they are slightly more credible. For example, 'The Sun' reports that the Magpies are after Wolves' Conor Coady.
The 28 year-old defender, whose contract runs until 2025, has a market value of almost 25 million euros. Newcastle are not the only club following his tracks because the newspaper also reports that Tottenham want him.
