Chiesa to stay at Juventus on a permanent basis

Chiesa is now a Juventus player. Despite it being taken for granted, the winger is still not a Juventus player. He is on loan from Fiorentina. In 2020, both clubs reached an agreement on a loan deal which costs 12.5 million euros, with an option to buy which has still not been used up. But now, thanks to the results achieved by Allegri's men, they will pay the amount they need to pay so that he becomes a Juventus footballer.
Last weekend's results guaranteed Juventus' place in next season's Champions League. That was what needed to be achieved for them to activate the 40 million euros buyout clause. It will not be the only payment: both clubs stipulated that there would be variables of around 20 million euros and depending on the targets obtained, a player of Chiesa's category could achieve it without a big problem.
The attacker continues recovering from his serious knee injury he suffered last January, although he did so knowning that he will play for Juventus next season. Until the injury, he had been an important footballer for the team. He mainly started matches, but had also played sometimes off the bench.
With the arrival of Dusan Vlahovic, it has been difficult for him to start because of the quality shown by Morata or Dybala, although the latter will not continue at the club once his contract expires on 30th June. It is a clear path for one of the Italian stars at the moment and form a strike partnership with Dusan Vlahovic to help Juventus win the league.
