Chiesa makes firm decision on Liverpool future amid Serie A links

Liverpool secured Chiesa's services from Juventus last summer for £12.7 million. His early months at the club were disrupted by injuries, limiting his impact. However, the 27-year-old is now fully fit and eager to prove his worth in the latter stages of the campaign.
The Italian striker opened his Liverpool account with a goal in the FA Cup before finding the net again in the Carabao Cup final against Newcastle. While his late strike at Wembley wasn't enough to change the outcome, it marked an important milestone in his adaptation to English football.
With a contract running until 2028, Chiesa was linked with an early departure in January, with Napoli reportedly interested. However, his father has dismissed any suggestion of regrets over leaving Serie A, insisting the forward remains focused on his Anfield career.
"Federico is doing very well at Liverpool. He's at a top club, leading the league, and we hope they win the Premier League," Enrico Chiesa told Tuttosport. "He's there to compete, and he has a fantastic opportunity.
"This summer, I reminded him of the same thing I've always told him. Until he was 15, he didn't play much, and when he asked me what to do, I told him to keep working hard, stay patient and be ready when his moment arrived."
Although Chiesa has yet to earn an Italy recall since his move to the Premier League, he remains determined to succeed in England rather than seek an immediate return to the Italian top flight.
