Chelsea target Morata chooses Real Madrid as Conte eyes alternative

Change of plans for Morata. Lukaku's move to United has changed Morata's future plans. The striker is prepared to fight for a place in Zidane's team, as things are still very uncertain with Chelsea.
Antonio Conte turned his attentions to Alvaro Morata as soon as Lukaku's transfer was announced, but the Spaniard's indecision has pushed the Italian manager to look for an alternative to lead his attack.
In this current climate, Morata has jetted off with the rest of the squad for Real Madrid's pre-season tour of the United States, willing to swallow his pride and convince Zidane of his worth.
He is aware of the World Cup around the corner, and that he will have enough game-time at Real Madrid to make it to Russia. Though he does want a more important role, a move away from the Bernabeu, especially to a different league, could be too much of a gamble.
Real Madrid never made any efforts to sell the striker, and are content to retain a player Manchester United and Chelsea have been fighting over.
Alvaro Morata will stay at Real Madrid, which will force Antonio Conte into action if he doesn't want to miss out on another transfer target.
