Chelsea and PSG waiting for Barça to fail in Lewandowski deal

Barcelona have financial problems and that is the reason why the signing of Robert Lewandowski from Bayern, despite the Pole's desire to make it happen, is being delayed. Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea, in case Barcelona fail, are keeping an eye out for the striker's services.
This has been confirmed by 'Bild' journalist Christian Falk on his social media. He did so by quoting a message in which a leak from the prestigious newspaper 'L'Equipe' was mentioned. This information put the Parisians in the bidding and the journalist of the German media adds that the Blues, who have been looking for the striker for some time, are still ready to launch an offer.
The player, who does not want to stay at the Allianz Arena for next season, prioritises Barcelona and Chelsea, although he himself has publicly acknowledged that the Barcelona option is his favourite. The difference is that the Stamford Bridge bosses have much more financial leeway to operate.
In fact, this aspect is fundamental because Bayern Munich do not trust the financial capabilities of Joan Laporta's board and, for this reason, they are being particularly tough in the talks. They are demanding 50 million euros in a single payment and, for the moment, the Catalans are holding out for 40 million euros plus ten in variables.
