Real Madrid will face Roma, CSKA Moskva and Victoria Plzen in the group stage of the 2018/19 Champions League.
The holders will begin their title defence, and the group they have been drawn in looks promising.
The Champions League draw placed 'Los Blancos' alongside semi-finalists Roma who knocked out 'El Clasico' rivals Barcelona after a historic comeback in Rome.
Di Francesco's side, whose dreams were crushed against Liverpool at the gates of the final, look confident to compete this season, after adding to their squad over the summer months.
Real will also face Russian champions CSKA Moskva. The Russian side will be hoping that they can get a full home crowd to try and help them reach the final 16.
Lopetegui's men will also travel to the Czech Republic for a clash with Victoria Plzen, which looks to be the least challenging clash in the group, but upsets do happen.
Without Ronaldo or Zidane, Real Madrid's new figurehead Lopetegui will be hoping to make his mark, and see his team lift the cup for the fourth consecutive year.
