Celta Vigo endure of their worst away runs in their history

BeSoccer by BeSoccer @besoccer_com - 0 61

With their draw against Atletico at the Wanda yesterday, Celta Vigo have now gone 14 games without an away win, their worst away run sice returning to La Liga, and one of the worst in their history.

Their last away victory in the league was on the 8th December last year, when the team managed by the Portuges, Miguel Cardoso, beat Villareal 3-2 in the Estado de la Céramica.

Since then, Celta have lost 8 away matches (against Barcelona, Rayo Vallecano, Valladolid, Getafe, Eibar, Real Madrid, Atlético and Athletic) and drew 6 (against Alavés, Huesca, Espanyol, Leganés, Sevilla and Atlético).

This bad run means that Fran Escribá, who replaced Cardoso on the 3rd March, hasn't won a match away from home for Celta.

He has lost 3 )against Real Madrid, Atlético and Athletic) and drew 5 (against Huesca, Espanyol, and Leganés last season; and Sevilla and Atlético this season).
