The situation at Old Trafford has become more and more serious over the last weeks, and it seems as though tensions are reaching fever pitch.
After a string of disappointing results and rumours that he has lost the dressing room, reports emerged stating that Jose Mourinho would be sacked on Saturday.
While the club have moved to deny those, former United full-back Neville launched an empassioned tirade on 'Sky Sports' in which he called for those running the club to take responsabilty and called the rumours of Mourinho's sacking "a disgrace" on Friday.
Speaking also on 'Sky Sports', his punditry colleague and former Liverpool defender Carragher back the words used by Neville.
"I think he is right - although there's more problems than just the board. He knows Manchester United better than anyone. He's as passionate about United as any fan." Carragher said.
"You can see that in the interview. I think people love it when a pundit speaks so passionately - it's emotional. He's not putting on an act - it's real the way he feels about his own club. I couldn't argue with what he said."
