Camavinga expected to be sidelined between 2 or 3 weeks with muscle injury

Real Madrid suffered their third Champions League defeat of the season when they were beaten by Liverpool at Anfield on Wednesday. However, it was not the only bad news the ‘Merengues’ received on Merseyside.

'Los Blancos' midfielder Eduardo Camavinga suffered a muscle injury in the second half and had to be forced off the pitch. According to Fabrizio Romano, the French international is expected to undergo tests on Thursday morning. 

However, ‘El Chiringuito de Jugones’ has reported that the French midfielder is expected to be out of action for between two and three weeks, so he should be fit in time to play in the final of the Intercontinental Cup 2024. 

Ancelotti will be without Camavinga for this short period of time but does bring back Rodrygo, who had been out with a muscle injury and returns for Madrid's weekend game against Getafe.
