Camavinga completes last training session ahead of Madrid derby

Eduardo Camavinga closed, exercising with the group, the preparation for the derby that Real Madrid play on Sunday at the Civitas Metropolitano against Atletico Madrid with a bandage on his recently recovered knee with which he will be able to play a match that Kylian Mbappe, David Alaba, Dani Ceballos and Brahim Diaz will miss due to injury.

The last training session, of the three that Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti has had to prepare for the visit to Atletico Madrid, confirmed the recovery of Camavinga and the four absentees of the Madrid team for the derby.

For the third consecutive day, Camavinga was present in the group dynamics and, after two days without finishing training with his teammates, he increased the intensity on Saturday in a final test.

The French midfielder was seen smiling and joking in the rondos, exercising with a bandage on his left knee, which he sprained on August 13th on the eve of the first official match of the season, the European Super Cup.

By contrast, Ancelotti will not be able to count on Mbappe, absent on the pitch for the third consecutive day after the small muscle tear suffered in the biceps femoris of the left leg on Tuesday in the league duel against Alaves. The French striker joined Austrian Alaba, who is still recovering from a serious knee injury, and Spaniards Ceballos and Brahim in the infirmary.
