Valencia and Cadiz, two teams who played for survival until the dying seconds of the 2022/23 season, meet on Monday in a match that will give the winner some much-needed points.
Cadiz (15th) are just two points behind their opponents in 10th. But the Andalusians, who have not won since 1st September, can go into this match with the confidence of not having lost to Valencia in La Liga since 2nd April 2006.
Since returning to the Spanish top flight three seasons ago, Cadiz have won three and drawn three of their La Liga matches against the Mestalla outfit.
Last season, Valencia lost both their domestic games against Cadiz, the last of which was on 30th April in Andalusia.
Possible lineups for the clash:
Valencia: Mamardashvili; Foulquier, Gabriel Paulista, Cenk, Gaya; Pepelu, Javi Guerra; Fran Perez, Amallah, Diego Lopez; and Hugo Duro.
Cadiz: Ledesma; Iza Carcelen, Jorge Meré, Fali, Javi Hernandez; Kouame, Escalante, Iván Alejo, Navarro; Chris Ramos and Roger Marti.
