Brentford's Frank on Raya: "Maybe he doesn't want to stay"

Brentford and David Raya could soon be parting company. The Spain international could be playing his last season in the Premier League with the London club. According to 'AS', the goalkeeper has no intention of renewing his contract.
His coach Thomas Frank confirmed at a press conference that Raya has rejected two renewal offers: "If he turns [a contract] down twice then, unfortunately, that’s a signal. That being said, David has been amazing; he’s one of the best keepers in the league. He’s one of the captains and leads with his performances and behaviour every day," he said.
"We made two really good offers but that's fine, it's a free world. We can't force anyone. He must be at least £40m plus. If he had three years it would be £70m. How much was Kepa? He is at least as good as him," the coach added.
Raya's current contract expires in June 2024 but the goalkeeper is likely to leave Brentford at the end of this season.
