Brahim will take Asensio's place at Real Madrid

Brahim Diaz is the solution Real Madrid have been looking for. Marco Asensio is packing his bags, either to Ligue 1 or the Premier League, and Madrid have been presented with a gap in their squad that will be filled by Diaz next season.

'Revelo' published on Thursday that the footballer, who had been on loan at Milan, would return to Spain for good. At 23 years-old, he would take his place in the squad led by coach Carlo Ancelotti.

The same outlet also reported that Madrid are looking to renew Diaz's contract until June 2027, after he spent the last three years in Milan's red and black jersey, most recently falling just short of the Champions League final.

This would get the Spaniard to put down roots in the capital, where his contract expires in 2025. From Madrid's perspective, he is considered a good alternative to Rodrygo, Vinicius and even in midfield.
