Brahim congratulates Ramadan after choosing to play for Morocco

Ramadan 2024 begins on Monday. From sunset on Sunday, the Muslim community embarks on a journey of purification that will last until 10 April and commemorates the first revelation of Muhammad.

The dates have coincided with the news that Brahim Diaz, who has a Moroccan grandmother, will play for the Atlas Lions instead of Spain.

The Real Madrid player's first post after learning of his decision to defend the African national team was a Ramadan greeting. Manager Walid Regragui will not be long in calling him up as his team has to face Angola and Mauritania. His squad list will be confirmed this week.

Brahim Diaz has been performing at an outstanding level in Serie A for AC Milan for several seasons before even returning to Spain. Given the lack of reaction from the Spanish national team managers to his talent, he has ended up opting for Morocco.
