Betis boss Pellegrini eyes more success in La Liga and Conference League

Betis sit 6th in La Liga EA Sports with 54 points, one behind Villarreal, and are two games away from a European final. Pellegrini reflected to the club's media on "a month where you can do a lot of things, reach the Champions League, get to the final (of the Conference League), win it."
Regarding the tie against Fiorentina, which kicks off on Thursday at the Benito Villamarín stadium, the coach said he sees it "as a very important match" and said it was "one of the achievements of this season to be able to fight in the semi-finals without leaving La Liga to one side."
"We're going to play for our lives to try to reach the final and win it, but we're not going to put La Liga to one side. We need to finish off this month to seek both achievements."
"We want to overtake Villarreal in the standings (for the places that qualify for the Champions League) because we are one point behind them and there are 15 to play for, but also to play in a continental final which would be an unforgettable experience," he claimed.
"If you look at four of the teams in our group, they went through to the round, they played important games. We couldn't leave La Liga aside, we had a squad decimated by injuries and sales, and we had objectives and we did it properly."
