Good news for Karim Benzema. The French striker will only miss a week after some feared he was facing a long time out.
Karim went off during the game against Valencia at the Mestalla when Real Madrid were torn to pieces. The goalscorer was taken off after signalling to the bench.
Zidane reported that he had a problem with his abductor. The injury was diagnosed on Tuesday after further tests on the number 9.
Benzema tweaked the muscle and will only miss a week. He will return to Real Madrid for when the La Liga returns after the international break, against Villarreal on the 21st November.
It is a relief for fans who were fearing the worst. The Frenchman will be back for the tough game against Unai Emery's side and the visit of Inter in the Champions League just four days later.
