Bayern rejected an Inter offer for Pavard on deadline day

Benjamin Pavard's story at Bayern will come to an end in the summer. The Bavarian club were outright against selling the French full-back in January, despite the succulent offers which they received.
That is what the side's Sporting Director Hasan Salihamidzic said to 'Bild': "We received an offer for Pavard on deadline day which was economically attractive, footballing terms always come first". According to 'Sport1', it was Inter who went in for him.
It is a well-known secret that Benjamin Pavard is somewhat of a second-choice to Joao Cancelo now and that his relationship with Julian Nagelsmann has taken a blow. The French player is valued at €30 million and is under contract until June 2024.
Barcelona are prioritising him for 2023-24. Xavi is thought to be up for signing him, especially after failing to sign Julian Araujo. However, the 'Cules' will not be the only ones in the fight for him. The best offer will win the race for him.
