Bayern Munich rule out Mane for first leg against PSG

Bayern Munich ruled out Sadio Mane for the first leg of the Champions League last 16 tie with PSG. His coach Julian Nagelsmann revealed the news and said that the Senegalese could be back "for the end of February."

The date matches the estimated time of absence that was mentioned. It is worth remembering that the former Liverpool man suffered an injury to his right fibula 12 days before the World Cup, the German club said at that moment. 

Sadio Mane was not in Qatar, but the return is still positive in the eyes of Julian Nagelsmann: "He doesn't have any pain, but he will miss the first match against PSG. I hope he can be available for the end of February."

Until he got injured, the 17 for Bayern made 23 appearances in which he scored 11 goals and provided four assists. It will be time for Serge Gnabry, Leroy Sane, Kingsley Coman and company to shine.
