Despite having been with the club for a decade, Ramsey will leave on a free after negotiations over a new contract broke down due to a disagreement over wage demands.
The news that the Welshman will be looking for a new club has caught the attention of a lot of the big names in European football, with the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea and Juventus linked with his signature.
However, reports in the 'Sunday Express' claim that German champions Bayern Munich are in prime position to bring the creative midfielder in during the summer transfer window.
FIFA rules mean that foreign clubs can start pre-contract negotiations with a player 6 months before the end of the deal, something that domestic opponents of the player's current club cannot do.
However, with a swath of midfield talent at the Bavarian club it is not certain that they will go for Ramsey.
